What is your favorite lip gloss?? Second, the Mayans are portrayed as being more alien than barbarian, which to modern sensibilities, they undoubtedly were. The “happy tree hugger” image of the first Americans is both wrong and condescending. Third, by the standards of early 21st century America, the Mayans, Aztecs and so forth would appear to be brutal, even monstrous.
